There are so many ways you can go about your family session. If you are unsure which type is best for you, visit this page. I work closely with each family to create the images they are envisioning. From the first inquiry to the final images, I am here to help guide you and make this session as stress free as possible. I'm a mom, I get you! I'm here to serve you in whatever way you need me most throughout this process.
What if my kids don’t cooperate?
They don’t need to. Family sessions are built around connection, not perfection. I make room for movement, play, and personality while guiding things so it never feels chaotic or forced.
Will we get any photos where everyone is looking?
Yes, but I don’t treat that as the only goal unless its your main goal for the session. We’ll capture a few traditional portraits, then allow space for natural moments that often end up meaning the most.
How should we prepare for a family session?
The best preparation is letting go of pressure. I’ll guide you on clothing, timing, and what to expect so you can show up present and enjoy being with your people.
Why choose an in-home or studio family session?
In-home sessions feel intimate and personal, capturing your family in a space that already holds meaning. Outdoor location sessions allow for movement and a more relaxed, playful feel, especially for kids who love to explore. Studio sessions offer a clean, minimal setting that keeps the focus on faces and connection. Each option creates timeless images in a different way, and we choose what fits your family best.
How many photos should I expect?
I produce around 60 images per hour. Sometimes more and sometimes less.
Almost there!
